The Engraved Valley design from our Spring Hill, Tennessee collection, on a hoodie.
Old-school engraved artwork in burnt orange: the sun coming up over rolling Middle Tennessee farmland, a barn, a silo and a split-rail fence, Spring Hill arched across the top and est. 1808 underneath.
1808 is when it started. Settlers arrived around then, and the city marks May 1808 as its founding. The name comes from a spring below the hill where Albert Russell built the first home, and it stuck even after an attempt to rename the town Petersburg.
Spring Hill marks May 1808 as its founding, and its Founders Day celebrates that date.
The first home was built on a hill above a spring. An attempt to rename the town Petersburg, after early settler James Peters, didn't last.
