The Topo Map design from our Memphis, Tennessee collection, on a pint glass.
A minimal topo-style design: flowing contour lines around a dark, winding river and its oxbow bends, framed in a square with MEMPHIS spelled out underneath and the coordinates 35.1495° N, 90.0490° W, downtown Memphis.
The contours are artwork, drawn to evoke the terrain rather than copied from a survey map. The real landscape fits: the Mississippi swings past the bluffs in wide bends, with flat floodplain on the Arkansas side and old oxbow lakes left behind where the river changed course.
No. It is a stylized topo design. The coordinates are real, downtown Memphis, but the contour lines are artwork. If you want a shirt drawn from real data, see the Ridgeline or Street Map designs.
It is inspired by the Mississippi River, which runs along the west edge of Memphis.
