The Topo Map design from our Johnson City, Tennessee collection, on a pint glass.
A minimal topo-style design: flowing contour lines around a creek winding through mountain ridges, framed in a square with JOHNSON CITY spelled out underneath and the coordinates of downtown.
The contours are stylized artwork, drawn to evoke the terrain rather than copied from a survey map. The real landscape fits: Johnson City sits among steep Appalachian ridges and creek valleys, with Buffalo Mountain rising behind the town and the Watauga River running through the region.
No. It is a stylized topo-style design. The coordinates are real, downtown Johnson City, but the contour lines are artwork, not a survey. If you want a shirt drawn from real data, see the Ridgeline or Street Map designs.
It is inspired by the steep Appalachian ridges and creek valleys around Johnson City, including the area near Buffalo Mountain.
