The Engraved Valley design from our Jackson, Tennessee collection, on a hoodie.
Old-school engraved artwork in burnt orange: the sun coming up over the railroad tracks, a steam locomotive, the depot and downtown, Jackson arched across the top and est. 1821 underneath.
1821 is when it started. Jackson sits on land opened up by an 1818 treaty, and Madison County was formed in 1821. The town was first called Alexandria, then renamed Jackson in 1822 to honor Andrew Jackson, who had negotiated that treaty and later became president.
